Taj Mahal Tour
Taj Mahal stands on the bank of the river Yamuna. Situated in Agra Taj
Mahal was built in 1631 by Shahjahan, the fifth Mughal Emperor, in the memory
of his second wife, Mumtaz Mahal, a Muslim Persian princess. Located at the city of Agra in the State of Uttar Pradesh, the Taj Mahal
is one of the most beautiful masterpieces of architecture in the world.
Agra, situated about 200 km south of New Delhi, was the Capital of the Mughals,
the Muslim Emperors who ruled Northern India for more than three centuries
(between 16th & 19 century).
It is one of the most wonderful masterpiece of architecture in the world.
It is best described by the English poet, Sir Edwin Arnold, as
"Not
a piece of architecture, as other buildings are, but the proud passions
of an emperor's love wrought in living stones."
Taj Mahal is the history of eternal love between Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mahal "jewel of the palace"
Taj Mahal – Embodiment of Grace and Romance
Taj Mahal, the word, itself creates vibrant images in the mind of cupid struck. Structured by an Emperor for his love, the White dome burries his beloved by his side. "He" was not able to forget "her" and we are sure you would not be able to forget - "Taj Mahal."
